The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme
FORS is an international voluntary accreditation scheme aimed at fleet operators motivated to elevate their operational performance, sustain high standards, drive impactful operational outcomes and receive industry recognition.
We provide an independent review and accredit against a progressive framework that looks at three key areas: safety, efficiency and environmental protection.
Our scheme builds on the minimum Operator Licence (O Licence) undertakings required by law. The FORS Standard defines the requirements that operators must meet in order to attain and maintain FORS accreditation. There are three accreditation levels that operators can attain to demonstrate best practice: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
No death or serious injury on our roads is ever acceptable or inevitable. We provide comprehensive guidance and training to help operators achieve best practice in safety standards, so that all reasonable steps are taken to prevent incidents while operators are working for you.
